WOW! Newsweek Poll: General Election
I was pretty shocked to see this so early on but in the latest Newsweek Poll 52% of voters do not want to see President Bush Re-Elected.
Also Kerry is at 30%, Edwards 13%, Dean and Clark at 12%.

And they want Kerry for Prez? Ouffff. He is such a boring speaker. He doesn't know when to quit. At least Edwards & Dean know when to stop.

Ok, how fickle is America? How can you base a decision simply on a candidate's posture or mannerisms during a debate? What happened to listening to what the candidates had to say, or actually doing some research by oneself? Saying, "well, so-and-so was snearing while the other person was talking really turned me off," doesn't cut it. This goes back to the famous Nixon-Kennedy debate where people watching said Kennedy won and people listening to the debate said Nixon won. Today people base their decisions on how "positive their message is" or "how well they look in jeans" (that was an actual reason someone gave for voting for John Edwards). If people really made well-informed decisions for a candidate, I would have little problem with whoever was elected. I just think that ignorance tends to push people, and their votes, toward the left. Democrats aren't a problem, it's the reasons people have for choosing liberal candidates that needs to be remedied.
