Which is worse: having taxpayers pay for education, or having big business, with all the greed and conflict-of interest problems, run our system of education?

People who want widespread privatization of schools think that it will give them more control over what their kids are taught. It might, but only for so long as it takes for a huge company to figure out how to muscle in on the action. Then, the CEO of Nike will be the one setting the curriculum.
